What and why I.C.F?
ICF is a building block constructed from expanded polystyrene, steel reinforcement is placed inside then poured with concrete.
This provides a solid structure, highly insulated internally and externally, superior air tightness and soundproofing comes as standard! A superfast construction, with minimal labour requirements, can provide excellent cost savings.
With lintels being able to be poured in situ, large spans can be achieved without heavy expensive RSJ's.
